Air Conditioning
The entire hotel and all rooms are fully air-conditioned. In your room, you will find a control panel to turn it on and off and to regulate the temperature.

Alarm Clock
You can set an alarm clock through your television.
Bill
We will email you your bill on the day of your departure.
For your company to cover your bill, we need a written confirmation in advance. Please provide this either before your arrival or upon check-in.
If you consume anything at our restaurant East of Italy or in our Weights & Measures Bar during your stay, you can charge it to your room and settle the total bill upon check-out.
Breakfast
Our breakfast buffet at FREIgeist Göttingen Nordstadt is available daily on weekdays from 06.30 – 10.30 am.. On weekends, it starts half an hour later and is available for late risers until 02.00 pm..
As a hotel or homes guest, you pay € 29.00 per person for the breakfast buffet.
Please inform our reception so we can reserve a table for you, or book directly online via Opentable.

Family Rooms
In true family style, we have FREIgeist rooms connected by a small hallway or rooms with connecting doors. Please inform the reception of your preferences before booking, and we will help you find the perfect room. We also provide baby cribs for our little FREIgeists.
Fireplace
Cold feet? No problem! Grab a good book and sit by the fireplace in our lobby.
Fire Alarm
In case of a fire alarm, immediately leave your room as shown on the evacuation plan on the inside of your room door. If you need assistance, inform the reception immediately. Then wait outside the building at our assembly point, located at the "Liebrechtstraße" bus stop. Follow the instructions of our staff and the fire department. Only re-enter the building after consulting with a FREIgeist or the fire department.
First Aid
Please notify the reception in case of an accident or injury. We can assist with our first aid kit or call emergency services for you. All emergency exits are clearly marked.
For serious emergencies, our hotel is equipped with a defibrillator, on which our staff is trained.

Fitness
Relax and grow beyond yourself in our 110 m² fitness room. Cardio and strength equipment and functional equipment are available for your workout. In the adjacent training room, you can practice yoga or pilates on your own to find your balance.

In our underground garage, there are 21 e-charging stations. Payment is made directly at the charging station (e.g., with a DKV card, credit card, or via QR code with an EC card, PayPal, ApplePay, and Klarna).
If you need help, there is a hotline at the charging station that you can use. Alternatively, you can contact the reception.
The nearest "regular" gas station is about 300 meters away on Weender Landstraße.
Green Option
In our FREIgeist Hotels, your room is cleaned on request. For stays longer than three nights, a mid-stay cleaning is automatically provided.
If you would like a cleaning in the meantime, simply hang the corresponding door sign on your room door or let us know at the reception. If you only need fresh towels, new soap, or similar, please give us a brief notice.
Together, we can save unnecessary resources from cleaning agents to electricity and water.

Safe
There is a safe in each room's wardrobe. Please ensure you secure your valuables before leaving your room so that you don't forget anything at check-out.
Sartorius Quartier
Located in the heart of the newly developed Sartorius Quartier on a 24,000 m² site in Göttingen Nordstadt between the city center and the university, you will find us with the Hotel FREIgeist Göttingen Nordstadt and, for the first time, the FREIgeist Homes, 114 apartments in Göttingen.
Among other things, there is a daycare center and 170 rental and 53 owner-occupied apartments. In the center of the area, historical buildings such as the Sheddachhalle and the Sartorius tower have been preserved and, together with a completed new building, form the new health campus with event spaces for up to 600 visitors. The health campus is a collaboration between UMG and HAWK, created for new study programs in health and nursing professions.
On the site, you will also find the Sartorius Life Science Factory. The research center for life science startups offers open offices, a prototyping workshop, and new laboratory spaces with the latest equipment. The Patient Care Center of Ottobock in cooperation with the Rehazentrum Junge is also being developed in the quarter. Patients from all over Germany and international guests can receive both neurological rehabilitation and classic prescription therapy there.

The classic cannot be missed. In the Finnish sauna, you can sweat at temperatures starting at 85 degrees.
In the adjacent Fatboy lounge, you can cool down and stretch out your feet. A spa bag with towels and a bathrobe is available at the reception.
