Forgot your toothbrush? Lost a button? A little bathroom emergency? To help conserve resources, these extras are no longer provided automatically in the room. But no worries – we’ve got everything you might need. Toothbrush & toothpaste, razor, vanity and sewing kits, as well as feminine essentials, are available free of charge at the reception.

 

Bills
Your bill will be issued via email on the day of your departure. For a company to take over your bill, we require prior written confirmation. You can provide this to us in advance or upon arrival.

Our breakfast buffet at FREIgeist Göttingen Nordstadt is served weekdays from 06.30 to 10.30 am. On weekends, it starts a half hour later and even accommodates late risers until 02.00 pm.
 

As a guest of the hotel or Homes, the breakfast buffet costs €29.00 per person. Please let our reception know so we can reserve a table for you, or you can reserve directly online via Opentable.de.

In the courtyard of Homes, you will find a car-sharing station. As you pass by the Quartiersküche outside, you walk straight towards it.

• A one-time registration fee of €39.00 is due.
• You're set to go.

Just like e-bikes and e-scooters, the pricing is based on time and distance.

 

Only 650 meters away on foot, at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car rental service, you can rent various cars.

Fire Alarm
In case the fire alarm goes off, immediately leave your room as shown on the evacuation plan on the inside of your room door. If you need help with this, inform the reception immediately. Then wait outside the building at our assembly point, which is located at the "Liebrechtstraße" bus stop.

Follow the instructions of our staff and the fire department. Do not re-enter the building until after consultation with a FREIgeist or the fire department.

Cold feet? No problem! Grab a good book and sit by the fireplace in our hotel lobby.

Room Cleaning
We clean your room 4 nights after your arrival and then every 7 days. If you would like to know when your next cleaning is due, feel free to ask at the reception. We are flexible.
 

You can book an additional interim cleaning including laundry and towel change at any time for €20.00. You can also borrow cleaning supplies for independent cleaning at the reception. If you would like an additional towel change, we will charge €5.00 per person. This change includes one large and one small towel.

There is a safe in each room's wardrobe. Please ensure you secure your valuables before leaving your room so that you don't forget anything at check-out.

 

Sartorius Quartier
Located in the heart of the newly developed Sartorius Quartier on a 24,000 m² site in Göttingen Nordstadt between the city center and the university, you will find us with the Hotel FREIgeist Göttingen Nordstadt and, for the first time, our FREIgeist Homes, 114 apartments in Göttingen.

Among other things, there is a daycare center and 170 rental and 53 owner-occupied apartments. In the center of the area, historical buildings such as the Sheddachhalle and the Sartorius tower have been preserved and, together with a completed new building, form the new health campus with event spaces for up to 600 visitors. The health campus is a collaboration between UMG and HAWK, created for new study programs in health and nursing professions.

On the site, you will also find the Sartorius Life Science Factory. The research center for life science startups offers open offices, a prototyping workshop, and new laboratory spaces with the latest equipment. The Patient Care Center of Ottobock in cooperation with the Rehazentrum Junge is also being developed in the quarter. Patients from all over Germany and international guests can receive both neurological rehabilitation and classic prescription therapy there.
