FREIgeist in Einbeck near Hanover is a new boutique hotel in the heart of Lower Saxony. Our designers have thought through the furnishing of the rooms down to the last detail, fully geared to your well-being. Due to the hotel's location directly by the PS.SPEICHER in Einbeck, it is connected to one of the most innovative exhibition and museum concepts in German bicycle, motorcycle and automobile history. This theme is also reflected in the design of our hotel. However, we have the right hotel room for everyone, not just those who love classic cars and horsepower!

The architecture

Who says a new building can't tell a story? The authentic, down-to-earth character of the PS.SPEICHER just opposite is also evident at every turn in the FREIgeist Einbeck. With walls made of red brick and fine exposed concrete, expansive glass surfaces, shiny steel and polished oak floors.

Look & feel

An open stairway connects the four floors and 63 rooms of the vintage hotel and creates a feeling of free space from all directions. While the FREIgeist architecture brightens the mood with plenty of daylight, the polished oak floorboards create the perfect home atmosphere.

Modern & Vintage

With its modern facade made of brick, steel and glass, the hotel offers an exciting contrast to the historic town of Einbeck, with its over 400 medieval half-timbered houses. Lamps from factories or motorcycles bathe the space in warm light. The interior is hand selected and a real time machine – some elements come from Europe's most beautiful flea markets. In addition to vintage armchairs by the modern fireplace, you will discover a table opposite the reception desk, the base of which consists of a star aircraft engine, or you will see an old film lamp in the bar. Throughout the hotel, a variety of beautiful and characterful items ensures a surprise at every turn.
