We are advocates for a down-to-earth but elevated cuisine. Grilled food with strong flavors is the focus of our GENUSSWERKSTATT restaurant. We also call it the FIRE KITCHEN and our kitchen team is always working on hot new culinary ideas for your restaurant visit, family or company celebration.
In the PS.SPEICHER next door, the results of brilliant ideas from resourceful engineers and imaginative mechanics are on display in a 25,000 m² space. This energy inspires the kitchen of the GENUSSWERKSTATT. Because inspiring food needs a lot of love and even more passion. Not to mention, actual flames.
That is why grilled food is the foundation of the kitchen. There are also fresh salads and creative appetizers that change with the season. Whether it's dry aged steaks from selected farmers in the region or fiery hot mustard seeds from the Einbeck mustard mill, you can taste the energy and inspiration of the GENUSSWERKSTATT in every bite.

The RING OF FIRE on our terrace is not only a visual highlight, but also fully functional. The upper edge of the steel ring reaches temperatures between 180°C and 300°C and is perfect for a BBQ for yourself with friends, teammates or family.
In winter, the RING OF FIRE is ideal for cozy evenings with bread on a stick over the open fire.
Breakfast in our FREIgeist bar gives you the energy you need for the day. Have a terrific breakfast and awaken your spirits: choose from the many individual, selected ingredients such as bread, fresh fruit and vegetables, and regional eggs. Take a seat on the large, dark brown leather couch – or make yourself comfortable on the terrace.
