With more than 100 concerts a year, the Göttingen Symphony Orchestra offers its audiences a wide-ranging program. The orchestra's repertoire covers all historical and stylistic directions - from the Baroque to the present day.
For years, the orchestra has been successfully reaching out to new audiences. Concerts are organized in kindergartens, schools, hospitals and old people's homes in and outside Göttingen especially for the target groups of children, young people, the disabled and older citizens.

The International Handel Festival is the world's oldest and most important festival for baroque music in Germany. It has been held annually in Göttingen since 1920 and this year takes place from 09.05. - 20.05.2024.
