WINTER MARKET AT THE QUARTIER

On December 6th, the courtyard of the Sartorius Quartier will transform into a festive winter market for one day only. From 04.00 pm. to 09.00 pm., you'll find delicious treats from the food truck, warming mulled wine or punch, exciting craft and baking stations, children’s entertainment, and even a Christmas tree sale. At 7:00 PM, the men's choir will deliver pure holiday spirit.

For those who can’t get enough: Starting at 09.00 pm., the celebration continues with an After Show Party in our Weights & Measures Bar featuring DJ Mabrant. It’s the perfect way to turn a cold St. Nicholas night into a real highlight and kick off the weekend!

P.S.: From December 2nd to 21st, our food truck will be available for you. Conference groups can book the food truck as a delicious extra – whether for a relaxed get-together before your event or as a perfect way to wrap it up.

Christmas market Göttingen

Around the Old Town Hall and the imposing St. Johanniskirche, more than 70 festively decorated wooden huts invite you to stroll, enjoy and linger. Those looking for original or useful gifts will find something at the handicraft stands. The youngest Christmas market guests will get their money's worth in the nostalgic Viennese Hochrad or in the fairytale witch forest. Culinary variety is also provided. The offer ranges from classic bratwurst to Alpine cheese specialities to Finnish flamed salmon. Not to forget: the many mulled wine variations. But the Göttingen calendar of events is also full in Advent: Every day the cultural offer at the Christmas market changes. Festive concerts take place in the Old Town Hall and in the churches. The Tourist Information Göttingen also offers atmospheric city tours under the motto “Göttingen at Christmas time”.
